Hey dude,

I used a program called GPU-Z which extracts the BIOS (Google search how to do this, very simple).

I then loaded that BIOS I extracted from my card using GPU-Z into a program called RBE: http://www.techpowerup.com/rbe/ - With this I edited the BIOS to unlock the shaders (simple tutorial can be found via a Google search of "unlock 6950 Shaders with RBE" or something similar), I don't want to give you off the cuff instructions as something could get misinterpreted and ruin your card (I did it and it took me a week to revert to a default BIOS and start again).

Once the BIOS was edited and saved, I used a program called WinFlash (can be found on Tech Power Up also) to then load the BIOS back into my card. Checking your new flashed card with the new BIOS by looking at the new shader count in GPU-Z will tell you if you were successful.

(Unlocked card is something like 1408 shaders and the new count should be something like 1530 Unified).
