The weapons actually look quite generic, I'm not saying that I could design better ones myself, but you have to admit they are nothing new, I do love a good assualt rifle though and this one looks pleasing, since many games can't get their futuristic assualt rifles right.

Then people find out what weapons the game will have, then they say,
"These weapons are stupid, they're too low-tech, i'm sure there will be much better guns that those in 2142, like laser guns."

I never said that I didn't want lasers but I saw why they choose not to include them, but there are thousands of Sci-fi games out there that don't use lasers and have way more interesting weapons. If they are going to use military prototypes from today, why didn't they set the game at the more closer date like 2050? Not the 22nd century.

???? its not like the Ice started 150 years ago in the game then they spent all that time trying to figure out how to fix it but in the end decide to kill each other with outdated weapons, hmm or maybe its cause Dice never designed a game using original material *cough BF1942/Vietnam*cough*.

Would have been nice to put in a little effort to make it more interesting, sure their not futurists, but I think any human being on the face of the Earth would know that technology today even prototype technology is going to be outdated by the 22nd century.
