Sooo ON3 servers are all good. Normally full.

Can we get some paid reserved slots or what? :D

the queues didn't work as they should, so they turned it off. makes sense, not dumb at all

Or just have several reserved slots for ON3 members with a rotating password that changes each day and is posted on the forums. Won't fix much as they will probably be in use 95% of the time anyway lol. Something at least until server queuing is fixed and implemented.

Back on recoil, 1.6 servers (yeah i used to 1.6 when i used enough crack to aim)..

They had a reservation system which worked via the forums.

Register on forums, put steamID in profile, game server checks forums, if registered you get a reserved slot and it dropped a random if the server was full.


To do this isnt technically hard, we could simply do a export from the forums database every 24hours of all players BF3 IGN's, and dump those into the reserved player files.

The one thing i dont know about, is how does BF3 handle reserved players, is the slot ALWAYS reserved, or on connection does it drop someone else?

Once that question is answered, we could look into it.
