am finding it harder to spot enemies and vehicles - anyone else notice this? or just my keys not working?
read somewhere that if the enemy hides behind rocks or cover then the "spots" go away in BF3

Some perks for vehicles mean its harder to spot the vehicle, and the spot does not last as long.

With inf if you lose line of sight the spot goes away pretty quickly.

I find it very win tbh! Its reduces the taco from showing where you are.

I think once you try to spot they've increased the delay before you can spot again, like a "reload time". In BC2 the delay was present, but short. You could spam spot and uncover people you couldn't actually see.

It is frustrating to have a jet or tank directly under the crosshairs and have nothing happen though. I'm sure we'll work it out.

I know that the game has got harder for players that liked to spam on "Little Miss Red Triangle" but its the same for everyone.

It gives a general indicator of where the enemy is so your team can help you.

I tried to Make the spot/Comm key "Q" to "B" which is better on my keyboard but it will not work. I will see if "B" is already in use, otherwise ??

Its implemented very well i think. No more spamming at red dorritos across the map

You cannot custom bind the spot key. Sorry left-handers.

I like the spotting setup, especially on the mini map the enemy pops up on it as a red triangle for a split second when un-suppressed.

eh??? it'll let you bind it to another key but that could be why it doesn't work for me - u sure 'bout that?

What settings do people have the game to in order to spot people? I'm really struggling to pick anyone out from the scenery but I constantly get shot from 100m+ away. I can't even see closeby friendlies sometimes.

They have fixed it. The game is no longer about shooting triangles.

you'll get used to it, there isn't really any one setting that makes soldiers stand out from the surroundings

Hell yeah much better than that old embarrassing dice wallhack, now that i think about it every kill ive made lately has been *while aiming at some ones body* not just aiming below their tag, iits made killing more personal once again:encouragement:.
