I also get this message, randomly, sometime in the beginning, sometime in the middle of the round, and sometime in the end of the round just after the "Your Team Win/Lose" message. But I seem to able to have it temporary fix by kill BF3.exe process in task manager, restart and re-join the game back, this usually happen once or twice when you try to first join the game.

Yep same issues here. Random lock ups and crash. I think it is purely BF3's issue as I can launch again straight away.
Not too worried, probably a broad issue that they will sort out eventually.

I just changed from ati which improved with the v3 beta drivers to a nvidia and hasn't crashed or frozen yet. Ati drivers are terrible but playable.

I get the same issues, you can see a tooltip that says graphics has crashed and recovered. Only multilayer crashed for me.

Try turning off that antialiasing deferred setting. My screen was mostly black with that on.
I thought they were all night maps :(

Getting BF3 lockups mid game, playing #6 last night and twice in a round. Screen will freeze and audio will loop. CTRL ALT DEL to get out thou have had it lock.
Rig is i5 2500K @4.2 and 6950 shader unlocked @840 I might take the OC off the CPU incase I am undervolting it, but would expect a harder crash from that.
I suppose I should update punk buster manually also

not 1 crash or lockup.
i5 2500k @ 4.4
6950 shader unlock and OC
Running ULTRA everything but AA off.
11.10P3 and CAP4.
If you are having lockups I would say it is either a driver issue, try the latest 11.10p3 with 11.9cap4 , or 11.9 WHQL with 11.9cap4.
There have also been reports of onboard sound causing issues, do you have a sound card or USB powered headphones, if so completely disable onboard audio in bios

I had issues at end of map where it would crash, turns out it was Asus programs such as AI Suite, Smart Doctor, OSD Gamer, etc, etc. Maybe try having a look at apps like this as this may be causing issues.
