Hey guys,
Need some suggestions or opinions on what you think may be causing my problem.
In BF3 my resolution is set to 1920 x 1200 which is the native res for my Dell WFP 2407 Monitor (24 inch WS). My problem is that the game doesn't seem to be forcing that resolution correctly. It says that it's at 1920 x 1200 @ 59 hz or something but it doesn't really look like it in game. Everything is bigger than it should be, and that chat box honestly takes up a quarter of the screen. The textures also look slightly blurry and not quite as sharp or defined as they were in the beta, particularly noticeable at long distances.
I'm running the game on High and it runs fine in terms of smoothness (getting about 100 fps +) but it's just quite hard to see things clearly and i lose track of enemies anytime someone chats something which is annoying.
My flatmate has his computer set up next to mine with the same size monitor (different brand) running the same resolution and his screen looks normal for that resolution.
I am running 2x GTX 560 Ti's in SLI with the latest 285.62 Nvidia drivers with a DVI connection to the monitor. Have tried disabling SLI, and changing the resolution in game to other things but they don't look correct. Have also tried disabling any scaling in the Nvidia control panel.
Did a clean install of the drivers, thinking about trying the beta ones again?
Thoughts?
