You will never stop hackers regardless of what the Devs say and what new systems they put in place. Hopefully during the Beta EA/PB actually picked up on this and are just waiting for a few days for everyone to load up into the retail version using the hack so they have a valid reason for banning them, mass banning.

But unlikely lol.

PB is reactive & not pro-active, If they are using a method that PB isn't aware of, looking for, monitoring, they get past it.

Maybe they have left open one of the stats/unlocks web interfaces like they did with bf2. There was many a month where those in the know had full unlocks, even with 0 play time.

I'll also add that BF3 will no doubt have a built in stat checker like COD:BO. Those with impossible ppm or kpm are banned. Also reactive, but at least it is guaranteed to get the rage hackers off the servers.

But how can the people who make these hacks be aware of the loopholes or what ever so early in the game?

Punkbuster is the same for all games, so a bypass that works on one game can be edited within minutes to work on another (updating for versions, etc.) The hack developers are not so much finding loopholes within the game, they are disabling the checks that punkbuster has.

It's very common knowledge within the dark community what memory areas PB actively scans and what areas to avoid. Ramzi gave me a lesson years ago about the in's & outs of how PB works - once you understand your enemy, it becomes very easy to defeat him. Have a google for 'code cave' if you want to get a better understanding of how they (the dark side) achieve things.

Is this a part of the deep net? I'm not sure about that stuff man, I was checking it out a while ago, and then the power in my house shut off! I think they must already be watching me, so I don't want to do anything to make me look even more suss, but thanks for the helpful info!
