AA is stupidly easy with stinger. played 2 rounds, both rounds got the ribbon for AA.

1 good thing is that its not 1 shot dead, if jet is 100% 1st stinger disables it, which by the looks of it gives the piolt maybe 30 seconds to get to base with no weapons? if I hit it agan it's KABOOOOOOOOOM.

The good piolts would train the missile behind hills to try make it blow, this happend maybe 20%?

Haven't been running anything to tell me my FPS, but Caspian seemed to be pushing my CPU (i5 750 at stock) harder (close to 100% load on all four cores, vs 70%ish on Metro).

^^^ didn't seem to push the gcard any harder. Load in took A LOT longer (SSD) prob 30 seconds for caspian where metro is almost instant.

Caspian is very pretty, very big, I went 1 round not seeing a inf on the flag I was defending.

played 2 rounds last night and constantly got an avg of 80is fps and thats on a 1gb 6870 but i guess we wont really know till the full version comes around

Yep i saw 1.4GB of video mem usage quoted somewhere (on high settings). So that could be right.
As much as I dont want to upgrade until HD7K series, if this is the case I will certainly be grabbing a 6990 in the interim.

Depends what your after bro as the usable ram is still only 2gig vs 3gig. If you want more vram for the bigger maps if its needed then what growler said about a 2gig 6950 is a cheaper option then a 6990 if you want to wait for 7series.

That said you can grab 2 of cronicrashs 2 x 3gig 580's @ $600 each over a 6990

It has them built into it, any old installed caps or putting 11.5 cap on will fuckit up big time.

I left cap 5 installed, removing it made a FUCKLOAD of difference.

4 jets and 2 choppers up, jets spent too much time chasing 1 another to be of concern. The chopper was more of a pain to inf if anything.
