Yuck PoS drivers, FPS has gone down from 80s into 20-30s in NC2, also has gone back to not having all the HUD on centre screen. Worse driver release I have seen from NV...

...not that I care if it eats BF3 but I have my doubts.

She will be shopping for a new coffee machine on Tuesday worth 3k.

you have to use other things to distract them or give you space. e.g. my situation:

- That's a great idea, you should visit your parents next weekend for a few days. I have some 'work to do'.

- No no its fine go to a movie with jess,,,you have not seen her in a while.

and

- I dont ask you not to spend money on things like all the clothes you don't need, why do you want me to be unhappy?

- Yes you should take up horse riding again (she has) and I dont mind you have to practice 3 nights a week.

if you make a business case for the toys it will be declined and you will get days of grief for it.

Instead just buy the toys and then you will get says of grief but still have the toy.

I now have a high end pc thanks to this advice

Buy one of these, costs less than a gig or two of good ram, makes wonderful coffee and their hand grinder for $90 odd bucks makes it a sweet deal

The 285.62 WHQL cert drivers have come out with additional improvements :) Seem to be running well here on my filler games. Thursday will be the ultimate test.

Please note the additional improvements are vs the 280.26 drivers not the beta 285.38 drivers.

I'm gonna try the beta drivers first then the 285.62 for a comparison. Since the beta 285.38 had a huge % increase in performance vs the 280.26...

A friend has crashed using new driver. Using Afterburner to reduce OC back to Std clock, seemed to work in Beta on beta driver .26.

could be 560 ti problem again

If anybody is getting some stuttering, try turning off hyperthreading in bios. Apparently, it can solve the issue.

285.62 gave me vision that looked like night on some maps (with a little 5% area that was fine at the bottom)

Used older drivers, fixed it for now.
