Had a read about that app last night, seems the engine is just ignoring some of the manual tweaks from the config file.
On the mycrysis forum someone has also posted a chatlog from EA support who say the dx11 patch is coming.

As I said in another post IMO this is a disappointing tech release, but the game still is fun.

Edit: Some stolen images from mycrysis, to me this looks like EA rushed Crytek.

Well if the price comes down and the patches are good, I may get this. But underwhelmed so far

Finished SP. This time around I think Crytek spent more time on the game/story and less time on making it a tech demo. Feels a bit disconnected from #1 but I'm guessing that is so the console kiddies don't get confused.
