Exporting RB1 songs to RB2

Hmm. Anyone done this successfully? Had RB2 for a while, (Was imported from the UK by previous owner) my brother just bought RB1 and tried this whole exporting songs from RB1 to RB2. But its not working.

I've read the manual, done everything right. But seems to not work. Gah. Want moar songs!

Did a little research and it seems i may need a UK key? Could this be the problem?

Sure. Go to the Rock Band section of the PSN store. If you're in Europe or the US, you should be able to find the song export key that you need there.

Once you've purchased that, put the RB1 disc into your PS3. If you have all the latest updates and patches for it, you should have the export songs option. This will start the export to your hard disk. After that, you can play all the songs in RB2.
