Right. Thought I'd post up to get Gmod forums going. :)
Now I know there are some of you who dont give 2cents about gmod, But this is more to help anyone who needs help.
Gmod
Gmod (garrys mod) Is a mod of Half life 2. It use's the source engine aswell as props from Half Life 2 series, Tf2, Portal, CS:S, DOD:S. It can also use props from other games if Someone is smart enough to get the models. I'll tell you how to get those later on.

Right, The first thing we're going to do, is Download Tortoise svn. Tortoise svn is helpful because it gets the most updated version of the addon that is available.

You going to need to google what your system is, either 32bit or 64bit. Most people are 32bit, but because I have no idea what operating system your on, I cant help you specifically. Just remember, Google is your friend.
Right. Install it, pretty simple, Just click next, I agree, Then spam next till it installs.
Now your going to have to restart. Might want to copy the link of this tutorial into notepad and save it to your desktop so you can finish off the rest of the tutorial.
Now to start wasting your internet usage.
Haha. This will only be about 200mb but is NEEDED if you want to ever be good at Gmod, Im sure others can confirm this ;p
Go to the directory on your computer ...
C://Program files/Steam/Steamapps/*your steam name here*/garrysmod/garrysmod/addons
I'll teach you how to do the first one with svn, and then i will give you the links to do the rest.
Okay we are first going to install wiremod.
Create a folder in the addons folder and name it WireWIRE. You Wont keep this name but you will see why.
Rightclick WireWIRE and click Svn Checkout.
Copy and past this link in to "Url of repository" so it looks like below.

(https://wiremod.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/wiremod/trunk/)Make sure you're copying the whole link, not just the shortened version.

Click okay, It MAY ask for a user and password, Just enter "Anonsvn" for both.
Once it has finished, go into wireWIRE and there should be 4 folders. (read carefully here).
YOU ONLY NEED TO DO THIS FOR wireWIRE! This is because this download contains more than 1 mod! Do not edit the others!
There should be a Lua folder, Adv Dupe folder, Wire folder, and Wire models folder, Cut (not copy) out the Adv dupe folder, the wire folder and the wire model folder and place them into your addons folder, Then delete wireWIRE (which should only have the lua folder remaining).
Right. Heres a list of svn links. All you have to do is create a folder with the name i give, and svn checkout with the url given.

Now i said if you wanted models from other games, go to www.garrysmod.org (http://www.garrysmod.org) and find it, But GOOGLE first, Try see if it has a svn.
and lastly You wont see a mod unless the server has it.
