Borrowed it off my mate. It was really cool, then I was running along to the extraction point to be picked up by vulture, killed 10 or so guys waiting along the road, then a chopper came and used all 3 missiles to take it out.

Saved the game and moved along, switched back to my assault rifle, and nothing... it's completely disappeared, all I get is a crosshairs on my screen, if I shoot nothing happens, no sound, no killing, no nothing except losing ammo. And I can't reload. Figured I'd keep going anyway, fortunately there are no guys left...

So then vulture's hovering in the air saying he can't land because the areas hot and hostiles come out...

Well, they're meant to. But instead NPCs wearing crysis suits marked as hostiles run around jumping over walls, randomly cloaking and switching between the suits power ups. They don't attack me and due to gun issues I can't attack them. I explore the whole area and thats it, nothing else there.

So I re-load my game and do it all again, or at least I intended to, my gun was back, the bullets fired, but went right through every enemy, can't kill anything.

Was considering buying it... now? haha no.

um the guys in the nanosuits are supposed to come out. they are koreans with their own nanosuits, after you kill them the plan lands and you get picked up.... sound like you had a bug with the gun disappearing but as you said you reloaded your save and everything worked fine so whats the problem?

I think the problem is now the bullets don't do any damage.

Takes more than a round to kill them Tranqualize them then punch them to death

I had nightmare bugs with this game. In particular was a waypoint which wouldn't trigger. Had to go walkabouts in the bush and randomly found a cave.

The cave WAS the waypoint.

I dont know what exactly the problem is, but the CommandPrompt method I gave unlocks more memory or something.

For you it is a heating problem, but heating causes the whole computer to shut down, and soncs computer didnt shut down, it was just crysis.

Yeah I had a simialr bug at the same point where I'd kill the Korean nanosuit guys but the damn extraction chopper wouldn't land. After trying killing everything everywhere, then trying replaying from a few recent saves I resorted to reloading waaaaaay back and playing through again. GG, but buggy.

Playing through it at the moment, not sure if it is just my computer is better, but the game is perfect. No bugs what so ever, no lag what so ever, no problems at all.

Awesome game so far.

I do not understand how this 'I talked too soon' shit works.

Crysis no longer works at all.. :P

I get into game and it crashes and gives me a windows error report...

A severe googling is perhaps in order to fix your windows error report catastrophe if it gives even the slightest hint as to what the problem is.

On the other hand, just to spite, I have played through Crysis and Warhead a number of times each with and without installing patches and never encountered anything gamebreaking or any game crashes :chuckle:

Yea, well I played my way through warhead ages ago now, and was happily playing through Crysis, until the minute after I first posted here.
