Insurance Market New Zealand is proud to be sponsoring the ISF Racing Team in the upcoming ICONZ GT Open.

Introducing the team:

Team Name: ISF Racing Team
Teach Vehicle: Saleen
Primary Driver (Team owner): Xt1ncT
Secondary Driver: hpsd

The Raging Pom is teaming up with a recent arrival to the Iconz Racing arena - hpsd - the talk around the paddock is that he's very quick, apparently code quick....

In his own words he says "I just need to put it together for a full race"

So, could we be seeing a pretender to code's crown as undisputed King of Iconz Racing??

ISF Racing Team certainly hope so.

PS: The Raging Pom hopes to pick up a few top 10s and to support his faster teammate as much as possible.

We've gone with the car our fastest driver is happier with and considering I'm really not very fast it's probably the better choice.

I am quicker in the Lambo, but as we have to have the same car this is the deal. Not that the Saleen is a bad car, more that I can't drive it as well as others can - because I suck :rnr:

Well XT, you can hang with us in the midfield. I'm glad hspd is in his beloved Saleen, it's going to be an interesting battle up front and he is lightning in that thing.

I'd rather see XT competitve and happy than be in a car he's not comfortable with.

The answer is quite obvious really.Oh I'll be competitive - just not with you and the other "aliens".

The wife is away all next week, so I'll have plenty of time to just do laps in it and get myself a nice base set to work from and go from there.

The Saleen is easy to drive once the set is sorted - just I lost mine when I thought we'd be in the Lambo. It's also pretty strange jumping from a V8Supercar into the Saleen, very strange indeed :)
