Alright people i would just like to know how many of you could successfully log into Iconz's Server and stay there for more than 5 minutes without getting kicked out by punkbuster with error message of "Server Authentication Failed(2)"?
If you do check your under your crysis directory there's a game log does it say the line [net 05:50:20.218] Disconnect ip-210-48-63-139.asiaonline.net.nz:64087; profid=0; cause=16; msg='Remote disconnected: PunkBuster kicked player "Player" (for 0 minutes) ... [File Whitelist "ZPatch1.pak"] ? or something like it?
I know it's not my problem cause I could log on to other punkbuster protected servers like GameArena without getting kicked. Only happens with Iconz's Server. And I did some research appearantly punkbuster has a bug, and have to be configured for the new version by the admin. Or it thinks the user has added/modified the file ZPatch1.pak, which is what makes your game 1.1! That's why the log has the line [File Whitelist "ZPatch1.pak"] .
I'm only saying this cause I like anyother internet gamer wish to have a low ping. And I'm sick of having to play at Australia's servers, since ICONZ's server provides nearly half of the ping. I always play over Australia's server not because I no one plays in NZ's server it's because NZ's server won't let me stay there! I'll wait for an hour for another player if I have to.
So come guys anyother NZ crysis players wants to play at domestic server please prove if I'm right so we could get the ICONZ's stuff's attention ( I've posted replies and PMs to the admin but sadly he havn't answer after nearly 2 weeks:sly: ). Or prove me wrong so that I can stop wasting ICONZ's time and look into my own problems. THANK YOU!
