What the hell is wrong with this game ?

WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THIS GAME ? I just borrowed it off a mate, and i am so damn happy i didn't pay for it.

It's like playing BF2, or CSS on a freaking dial-up connection.

I'm in the prone position (for more accuracy), and i very closely aim up the bad guy, set the rifle to single shot using the assault scope and click...The guy jolts, but he is still standing, ok, cool, so he took a bullet, maybe he is a Korean Rambo....click, he jolts again, and yells at me as if he is ordering from his favourite restaurant. Nevermind.....click, he takes another bullet....WTF.

I end up unloading a full 31 bullet sized mag into most guys, and they still stand, i know they are being hit because they are physically jolting from the bullet impact.

This happens with all enemies, why the flip is it so hard to kill ? The only weapons that seem to have any effectiveness so far is the shotgun, and that seems to kill at a reasonable rate at a distance that NO shotgun should be able to...that and the sniper rifle.

Am i doing something wrong ? Am i not holding my tongue right when i fire ? Should i chant some voodoo curse before i pull the trigger ? What gives ? So far i am insanely disappointed in this game.

Is their a tip that someone can give me to help kill the enemy before i end up wasting my total supply of bullets and an army of angry Koreans shooting at me ?

I have the latest patch if that helps.

What I like about this game is it actually requires some aim.

TBH I found this frustrating at first too, but I like it now.

man.what rifle are you using? The "high tech" nano suit is suppose to be able to obsorb like 4 shots in the head by the most powerful assult rifle SCAR before the dude dies. If you use a High Precision Rifle you'll get the guy in one shot on the head. Or just buy a gauss rifle kill the dude in one shot regardless where you hit him.

they wear body armor so aiming for the chest like a css nub and hoping for a fluke headshot wont work :)

Just use invisible and keep flanking them and shoot 1 at a time. Or depending on difficulty you can just rush them.

Normal is piss easy... you could play the entire game with just the Hummer. Hard requires a bit more sneaking or ambush tactics to kill groups.

I agree with Slim. Multiplayer fails more than SP tbh, it takes forever to kill a person and you start off with fuckall money and there is no way to change that.

Good old trusty hummers it's guaranteed it's fuck you in the arse, But i've got a few commands here that make the game better for me so you feel more like the predator.

Crysis=awesome game if you can run it well(a core 2 duo and a 8800gt aint that expensive), buy it too- dont be a parasite, developers just wont bother developing pc games b4 long because of the pirating, "consolisation" here we come. Flame away...........

To be honest man I'm stoked I didn't buy it. I was close to buying it a couple of times. If developers want people to buy their games then the least they can do is make them worth buying. ET:QW and Crysis were not worth $100. To me, $100 is a lot of money. COD4 however, imo, was $100 well spent, as was BF2 and 2142. Hell I actually enjoyed the new Medal of Honour more than Crysis. At least it tried something new.

haha, these forums needed something new anyway. I installed the game yesterday, what are you guys complaining about? lol hours of fun just by fucking with the physics anyway. Maybe MP is shit, but I don't plan on playing that.

The alien part of the SP is a bit boring, being in the ship is just so bad. But throwing barrels at people, and throwing people at people, is so fucking funny. Love it.

And +1 about the damage system, just too far to be able to shoot a clip into an enemys chest and him not dieing lol. Drop the gun, pick up a crate, throw crate. <3.

But the absolutely amazing graphics almost made me cry.

Firing incendiary rounds at translucent enemies which then go on to reflect their light source from other translucent enemies before the disappear around a corner while their glowing blood permeates the water is simply unbelievable

Shame about the game, storyline and weapon damage system. I ended up either using the jeep, precision rifle or tranquilizer darts
