graphics help

Hey i started playing crysis the oter day and its awesome, but for some reason all the plants are white beyond 10 meters away, all the green parts of the plants that is.

any one have any sugestions what might be causing this to happen and how i can fix it?
my system specs are:intel quad 2.4ghz, 2G 800 ram, 8800GT, 500GB hard drive, p5kc motherboard

yep sounds like a driver issue.

for less then half the price of an ultra i can get another GT and get better performance then ultra....

hmm so your saying its just the ram thats holding me back from running it on very high, at the moment i can run every thing on high smooth but at very high it seems like my guy moves a second after i tell him to (very annoying)

I thought that with 8800 series cards, e6600 cpu or above and 2GB of RAM crysis could run on ultra high settings?

How come you only get up to very high? or is very high the same as ultra high?

Don't force AF in your gpu control panel. Go for "application controlled".

i had similar problem. but tbh i didn't do anything and it fixed itself...im glad to have helped :)
