If you care about it that much get a program called getdataback I think, you could probably get it back. It's a pro program, if all you did was format, then theres a 99% chance you can get it imo.

You can back it up using This (http://files.filefront.com/Call+of+Duty+4+Backup+092/;9106524;/fileinfo.html) then save it onto say a pen drive. If you reformat, reinstall the game and replace the files with your backed up ones. done.
