Anyone else have this on startup, even before loading any games etc?
Should it be doing that? Never had that until CoD4, where it was just the "A" that started, and now, post 1.3, both "A" and "B" are started.

Not on startup here no, but the A and B running during gameplay is meant to happen yes. The game (bf2, AA, cod4) will kick if it fails to communicate with them

you can slow it down like in BF2 with cvar pb_sleep 500

if your on WinXP you could go to Run > type in "msconfig" and see if punkbuster is listed under the startup tab (and untick it if it is) ?

I'm a bit quicker on the gun. First thing I always do. Can't have crap starting thats not needed.
