Server config request, ext ascii chars

Hello ICONZ Admins.


Thank you for taking the time to read this request and consider it.

We are unable to use our clans tag «ÐÇ» on ICONZ COD4 servers due to a server side setting which results in us being punkbuster kicked for 2 minutes for having extended ascii characters in our player name.

I was hoping the admins could consider updating the config to allow this.

PB_SV_ExtChar [0=no, 1=yes]

The default setting of 0 tells PunkBuster to disallow extended ASCII Characters in player names; for the purposes of this command, characters that cannot be easily entered with simple keystrokes are considered extended

I believe this setting needs to be updated/changed in the servers .cfg file.

BTW, have you guys tried the tag on Node/GA/any other servers you play on? If they don't set these options then you'll find yourselves putting on and taking off the tag (ultimately becoming too lazy to put it on again) every time you don't play iconz.

Yep, works fine on GameArena right now and OGN are updating their config shortly for us (and others).

While you're at it, change all campaign configs to change map with the devmap command :P .
