My point of view is that regardless of how annoying it is, people shouldn't be abused for using a particular perk or weapon.

Think of it this way, I am looking to join a community for COD4 and I happen to really enjoying using that perk. So I come here to see what the community is like and there are people claiming that I'm fucking retarded for using that perk....... not really a warm welcome.

Now same situation but the people are actually discussing it in a more relaxed fashion (see your second pic), that's a much warmer welcome and I might just join up and post my take on things.

As Elemunk pointed out, there is always going to be things in games that annoy some people or things that some find unbalanced, etc. That's just the way the cookie crumbles with online gaming. You are more than welcome to talk about the things you like/dislike, just don't abuse people for having different views or different tastes to you.
