#1 PC title in the USA, outselling Crysis (which i wouldn't have guessed a few months back), altho
i wonder if the Crysis + Collectors Edition would add up to more than #1.

"A new week, a new NPD chart, which games are the hottest ones available ? Here's a list of the best selling PC games in the USA for the week ending November 17:

1. Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - Activision
2. Crysis - Electronic Arts
3. The Sims 2 Teen Style Stuff - Electronic Arts
4. SimCity Societies - Electronic Arts
5. Crysis Collector's Edition - Electronic Arts
6. EverQuest II: Rise Of Kunark - Sony Online
7. The Sims 2 Deluxe - Electronic Arts
8. Hellgate: London - EA/Namco
9. The Sims 2 Bon Voyage - Electronic Arts
10. Half Life 2: Episode 2 The Orange Box - Valve/EA"

The sims is the biggest pain in the ass. You have to try balance everything in just a couple of minutes, seeing as 24min was 1 day, and they'd work for 1/3rd of it and sleep for 1/3rd and be pissed at life for the small time they were awake. Fuckers got drowned. Game over IMO.

I have the sims 2 +4 (bought) expansions and the rest I downloaded.

Haven't played them in about 6 months though. I just liked creating houses, but it is very limiting in that and only annoyed me.

Yup I enjoy it to a point u can build houses and shit. well kinda houses, but its fun getting a new sim who knows jack shit come in set the oven on fire, the house and watch the grim reaper come to claim their soul..:chuckle: i've never finished it though just something amusing to dwindle away some time when i need a break from the usual fps stuff.

Has anybody here actually played the sims and is willing to admit it?

Yes, all the time... My second most played game (after CoD4).

Does anyone actually own a full set of the sims? surely it must be like 30gb and cost over $5000?

I have bought all Sims 1 games and expansion, and have downloaded most of The Sims 2 games and expansions. The Sims>The Sims 2 imo.

Family friends are annoying, but you always leave one person without a job, make a rich family (by cheating) with 8 people in it, get the rich family to invite that non-working person around, get all 8 people to make friends with him anc viola, you have 8 friends ;P . I find myself constantly fast forwarding because I get bored with waiting for them to do what I tell them.

Nah thats Roller Coaster Tycoon

Another awesome game. RCT2>RCT1>RCT3.

I am awesome at making roller coasters... Roller coaster build off: any time, any place.

[on topic]

Not suprised about the figures though. Exactly what I expected. Cod and Crysis at the top, Orange box in there somewhere and a bunch of childrens games (for the little children) .
