if i know a name of a server i wanna join how to i find it?...this refreshment of 7000 servers is pissing me off.

The best bet is the latest version of Xfire, it has the best server browser by far.

in game press ~ and type /connect server_ip:port

so to join server #1, /connect 210.48.63.137:28960

go into

www.game-monitor.com and search for COD4 servers in NZ.

Write down IPs, go into game and add them as FAVOURITES. Since then, I don't even bother with the browser, I just go into favourites and it updates 7-8 servers all from NZ in less than a sec.

even simpler, use the cod4 web plugin (http://downloads.gamers.net.nz/cod4/cod4plug/cod4plug.exe)

And then use the Join button from the NZ COD4 server list (http://www.cod4.net.nz/serverlist.html) (to the right of the servers IP).
