gah! everytime i try to chance my gfx settings after installing, it crashes and then tells me direct x is not recoverable


any help?

It happened to me at first. After a long time trying to fix it I came to the conclusion that when xfire was open it would come up with that error.

Works fine when xfire isn't on.

Hopefully that fixes it for you?

spot on....it was X-fire....which is pretty wierd i reckon
