My rego was attrocious this evening/afternoon. I was playing with F0rky and he remarked on it too. I would use a whole MP5 clip and 2 pistol clips and still not get the kill. And knifing was a joke, had a knife fight with killer that last 4 swipes each until I finally regged :\

have tested servers with antilag on and off, didn't make any noticeable difference to hitreg. (which is fine imo).

is this anti lag thing currently why i have 185 ping to iconz and cant hit shit?

Goldo

No, it isn't. Antilag gives better reg. I couldn't hit people while they were moving today and normally it's no probs.

GA have antilag and I never have reg problems. It's just with xtra's blown out ping atm I cannot hit shit :S

No antilag? that will explain why I have to aim 2 feet in front of a moving target, even when they're right next to me. It's a good thing this game is so spammy, that you have the same chances with the last bullet as you did with the first.

Yup I agree, ICONZ needs anti lag on.

Play on a antilag server then go back to ICONZ and you will notice the difference.

I only play Gamernz & MB servers because they support anti lag, but I still luv you ICONZ :P

When they finally make a game, with 100% perfect hitreg, what will you all complain about?

Unfortunatly I am on XTRA as well. Can't really change but.......200 ping to ICONZ.

Damn!

COD4 hitreg is fine...with antilag on (i literally killed people by shooting half a metre in front of them, had blood splatter come out of the air)

Only reason it is off is because people think this is COD2 and the antilag is still bugged (It's not, new netcode)

Apparently the maintance to the global gateway router is ending very soon, so hopefully Ill get a month of good ping before I change isp's :)

If you were in that server you would have made the same call :\ Everyone I mention this to agrees with turning anti lag on. Also makes it less nub friendly as bullets hit.

have tested servers with antilag on and off, didn't make any noticeable difference to hitreg. (which is fine imo).

If that was the case, one therefore has to ask, "Why not leave it on as per the default?" Quite simply, if players have a high ping then antilag is their friend. on a LAN one would expect this to be off, but online when some people's pings are closing in on 90 and even spiking higher in the mid 100's then having it turned off will do them no favours at all.

In some cases I definitely have to lead. So unless as per COD2 the code is random/borked, would it not be better to leave it enabled until such time as something suggests to do otherwise?

If your having problems with hit reg i just suggest you do what most people are doing....

1. Go fully auto no matter the distance and the gun.
2. Aim at either their big toe or shins.

Well I was going to be a bastard and just see if the complaints stopped, but I'll be nice and tell you - antilag is now ON for all ICONZ servers.

What you are really saying, is that it has always been on and Godless is just the biggest complaining douche ever. :p

i did leave them on with the gamers.net servers.

as i stated originally, "i tested it out and there was no noticeable difference", that is a result of testing, not a reccomendation of how the servers should be run.
