Ok il start off, This is my rig,
CPU: AMD 64+ 4000+ X2 Dual Core
Motherboard: Asus M2N - MG468T-C
RAM: 2gig DDR2-667 Corsair
Video Card: ATI X1650 Pro 512mb
Power Supply: Raidmax 520 Watts
Sound: Genius Soundmaker
Operating System: Windows XP
I get around 120 fps when the resolution is at 1024 x .... and most settings off (well the fps hungry ones) I have a feeling i should be getting better fps but maybe im wrong.
At the below settings i get from 40-70 FPS

Turn model detail and water detail up to "normal" not "low",as your pc can handle it fine.
Also a side note:Anyone as i was,who is getting lag online in local servers, try turning off "shadows" in the settings,it instantly got rid of my lag,and yet the maps still have shadows, lol.I can only think it's shadows due to hdr lighting, but anywya turning shadows off gets rid of lag.

Great idea!
I currently have everything as low as possible so I get the best fps.
CPU: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz
RAM: 1023mb
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6600
Operating System: Windows XP
Could I go any higher and still have the game run smoothly?

Quite often shadows are baked into the environment, there's no real reason for dynamic shadows when the sun always shines in one direction. Shadows in this case would be player shadows and chopper shadows. Which once in a blue moon helps you out when you see the opponents shadow around a corner giving away their position.

Get a cheap 8600 GT :D
Can run at 1280x1024 at 90fps w/o AA etc. You almost can't notice a difference in CoD with or without AA, unlike BF2 where it burns your eyes. Some of the settings on normal and some off. Looks great imo. + If I notice any drop in fps on some levels I can alt tab and overclock the card and back to smoothness :D

Something's strange. I'm getting like 15 fps and its smooth as hell its not choppy and its as though I've got 50+ fps.
