Key Code in use

So when I drop cos of connection and try to rejoin I get this message. Fucking annoying, pissed cos xtra licks both my balls and this on top = rage :( Anything can do?

in that case reinstall maybe?
Or key code as in the xtra monkeys are swinging on your sever lines again?
in that case, rage on phone, then change away from xtrafail :D

And no, no emulator etc. bought the game. It only ever happens after I lose connection because xtra suck so I'm guessing there's a shadow of me still somewhere on the servers which is preventing me from joining any server.

alcohol is a program to mount images to virtual drives.
if you don't have it, you won't need to disable it.

this happened to me this morning after our internet disconnected. I had to wait about an hour before i decided to reset the router, restart my computer, and changing my online name.

it worked, but not sure whether it was any of those things or just the 1 hour wait :|

I think its cuz on the server - it thinks you're still there. Just wait for the map change or something, should show it on xfire. After theres a map change it should be sweet and you should be able to connect again.

I was gunna say that. Also you dont need a cd in the drive to run the game so no need for alcahol or daemon tools.

I've had the same problem twice one of the times I just went back to desktop surfed around for awhile then reload the game & it let me in. The other time I just restarted the PC.

thats what it is. same happens in css sometimes. nothing you can do about it. Wish everyone else had read the thread haha

The sober state is a hallucination caused by lack of alcohol.

To solve this, either reset your router or restart your computer. Happens all the time in other series of CoD as well.

this happened to me alot last with xtra, so I raged them and went to orcon haven't had a problem yet :) and my ping on iconz went from 180 to around 50 couldn't be happier :)

turn off ur router then turn it back on.

Basically the isssue is the server thinks ur still in game. Happens with a whole range of games.

Basically yeah you have to physically close connection vie restarting the router.

or ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew work too i think.

Even just repairing your local area connection in the network connections folder fixes it.

Yeah the CD key system is a bit weird.

Before i got my copy the other day me and spartan were playing off the same cd key at the same time!

This only worked when he was at my place and on the same connection.
