Anybody else having serious unplayable artifacting probs?

Any suggestions?

The 7900GT/GTX had some memory problem that would cause artifacts, tearing, etc.

Just as a trial, to see if it is the card's memory or something else, down-clock ya video card's RAM by 50MHz. I used SysTools when I had my 7900, but any app that will let you do should be fine.

Once you've down-clocked it 50MHz (just on the card's RAM), try the game again and see if you still have the problem.

Some games where worse than others, likewise with drivers - but at least doing this you'll know if it's the card or dodgy driver, etc.

I often get it with my 7900GT when i first play a gfx intensive game, then it clears up after about ~30mins, 99% of the time it happens when i dont play games for a while(if i didn't know any better i'd swear its my computers gfx card playing up and being a bitch lol).
