Crysis Demo Delayed

Hi everyone,

We have some news to announce.

First, I am sorry for the bad news - the Crysis single player demo will now be available everywhere on October 26th, 2007.
We are taking some extra time to make sure you that you have an amazing experience but also we did not want to risk the release date of Crysis at this stage. To get the game into your hands by November the 16th, we had to make this call.

Now the good news - the big surprise. The SP demo will be released with our CryEngine 2 - Sandbox 2 game editor, giving the community the opportunity to get familiar with the vast amount of tools they will have at their disposal four weeks before we ship, something we have always wanted to do.

This is an exciting time for us at the studio as the development of Crysis comes to an end and we are only a few weeks from Gold Master.
We appreciate your patience and are looking forward to getting Crysis into your hands on November 16th.

So 21 days after the demo is out, the full game will be realised? Tbh thats pretty pointless. Anyone whos been on the net for longer then 5 mins in the past year should know about this game and the awesomeness of it. They may as well bring out the demo 1 day before it gets realised.

I gave in and grabbed a beta key for $6.95 US, I was so looking forward to the demo I had to. Bonus is I get a Frontlines Beta key too. :)

frontlines beta is a total disaster, first if your resolution is above 800x600 the top and bottom of the screen becomes unclickable. and second its impossible to play cus all te server have crashed and getting in to play is impossible

So much fun! Awesome fun, when you spawn at the sub, buy a SCAR, silence it with a sniper scope, take a boat from the sub out to some rocks, jump off the boat, climb on the rocks, check out a bunker, kill anyone you see, dive in the water and swim along the ocean floor, when your coming out of the water put your cloak on and sneak up to the base, shoot any dudes there and take it! Its cool man. Trust me.

I think it is sort of like a contract or rules that Beta testers have to follow? Suc has don't leak SS/ Video/ anything else sexy onto the net that may cause mere mortals heads to explode.
