Presented on a Core 2 Duo machine accompanied by a GeForce 8800 GTX, it was the latest up to date build, compiled – undoubtedly - especially for this event. Even though we’ve been looking at the game in the guise of different trailers aired during the past year, seeing the Cry Engine 2 in action is still jaw dropping and the game really does command technical respect.
Surprisingly, even with its Beta status, not one bug served to hamper our gaming; the sea is calm, the waves swoosh, the wind tickles the trees and the weather is nice. We could almost picture ourselves in a lost paradise (until that bullet zips past our proverbial digital head and ruins the idyllic scene somewhat.)
