Greetings,

Things continue to move within the Battlefield Universe. Today we are releasing the 1.41 patch for Battlefield 2 that resolves an intermittent crash that affected game servers. Although this is a small update this improvement will greatly improve the stability for players. This patch will be available beginning at 8:00am PST.

We are also continuing our Beta Testing for the Battlefield 2142 1.05 update while adding further enhancements to our Master Server systems to help eliminate the disconnect issues affecting some players. These updates were introduced during Tuesdays maintenance and do not require any updating by players. As we move closer to the 1.05 release we are also stepping up our enforcement of policies against players who exploit the stats system.

With over 100 player accounts already wiped our support staff will continue to address the accounts of players who use exploit tactics to advance themselves. We will also be announcing policy changes regarding player cheating and stats exploit in the near future.

For all players who are interested in hosting their own Battlefield 2142 server the new Server Provider Page is now live. Please check out this page in order to easily locate a Ranked Server Provider in your region.

As always keep your eyes to this space for all your Battlefield Updates,

-Your DICE Live Team

The question is how many honest players will have there stats wiped in the process. Do they wipe stats after reports or just trudge through the stats server and anyone they deem to be padding they wipe?

i heard they erase any1s stats with a round score higher than 250

errm yeah that's what i was wondering, i've got a best round score of 1000 something through no fault of my own, but because of some other tards that i was unfortunate enough to be in a transport heli with - so it would be pretty shitty if all my stats were wiped, but good if they just fixed my best round score and deducted the points or something.

haven't YOU got a best round of 2000+???? not that i'm suggesting you're a cheat but just concerned how some can be zapped through no fault of their own

I mean you get 1000 career points for a gold badge so it won't mean that.

best round score is ingame score not career points you get at end

because of the way one of the exploits work... if you got into a transport with a bunch of guys who decided to do the exploit you're not going to know until it's too late.

It's stupid because you could be legitimately going for your titan drop pins and/or the Transport badge and some fucksticks decide to mess it all up - which you can do nothing about short of jumping out or killing yourself but by that time they can easily have amassed a 1000+ points to your score in mere seconds. :/
