Why do i have so much trouble connecting to the master servers so i can play, its alwasys a tues night is the worst

P.s We had a good game last night, good that the iconz servers have good ping :bounce:

they do maintenance on tuesdays if you looks thru this section you will find dates and times somewhere

Thing that pisses me off (well, one of the things) is the "your connection to the master server has been lost" message that comes up when you click cancel. WTF! cant lose it if it was never there ffs. (hm wonder if I can change that in the local files..) It then deletes your password for good measure :cussing:

Also how hard would it be honestly to have a message come up saying the server is down for maintenance instead of waiting forfuckingever to fail signing in.

omfg. Why cant we just logon to bf2142 the same way we do with bf2.

I just finished jaming out on bf2 with no lag, no disconnections, no lost server bullcrap and everything was primo as.

What I hate is when you've just recieved a few pins, points, etc and the damn thing says' your connection to the ea master server has been bloody lost again for the 5th time in 1 hour goddarnit'.

Honestly they better fix all this shit soon man really pissing me off

I just finished jaming out on bf2 with no lag, no disconnections, no lost server bullcrap and everything was primo as.




you obviously didnt play bf2 from day 1, it took quite a few patches to get it to that stage

why can't they have a backup server? ie have one mirror server (I am not sure how many they use lets just say one to make this clear though although I suspect more are involved). Anyway there is one live server and one mirror (the good old fashioned backup that most companies perform).

When they update the account server requests are redirected to backup server temporarily while main server updates. Once main server is updated the redirect falls back to normal server?

Yea i agree a back up server/s would help when updating/maintaining the current/main server.

Hafta agree, its pissing me off to no end. Lost 1000's of points because of disconnects.
It seems to be happening to more than a 3rd of all games I try to finish.....

The fact that we have thought of it - ok you have thought of it - would automatically mean that IF (and it's a big if) EA thought of it they'd definately decide against.

Atleast you got to play bf2, last night after getting disconnected from 2142 so decided to play some BF2 lagged out an 2 disconnects later i went to bed :007:
