'ello,
so I'm here on the forum when I'd rather be placing RDX on tanks and walkers :(
Why, because today I have a ping of >800!

I have an inkling it's a problem at Ihug's end.
Anyone else having this problem?

Go to your dos prompt, or use run.
type in:
tracert insert iconz game server ip addy here
eg:
tracert 210.48.71.170
that should find where your latency is...Telecom hops through IHUG for some reason to reach ICONZ from my location too....Fknows why.

I was having the same problem, so I switched to another ISP that offers interleaving off. Now I get 30-40 ping.

OK, so it's all back to ping 40-80 land now.
But very strange... been with ihug for sometime and never seen it do that for ~8hours straight. Of course their 24/7 phone line will keep you on hold 24/7. There may or may not have been a "friendly and helpful customer service representative" on the other end, but if there was they obviously didn't this it would be helpful to pick up the phone! :disappoin

i with Ihug, I run two pc's on it both pc's have a ping average of 40 to 60, i haven't had any problem with the new plan's from ihug. remember 9 times out of 10 it telecom screwing with the line to rake in more customers. Ihug still don't have any control on the lines.
