When you buy the game from EG game planet u got rank up and free unlock, im pretty sure i haven't seen that gun i got,

anyone else get this issue?

did u enter the code at the website? it replaces the scar11

its called the Scar 11...
Standard version is Scar 11 AR..
U dont get to choose the normal version once you've unlocked the special verison....
If U got something that looks like the attached image.. then thats what it is..

I like the standard version.. the special version.. seems to cover half the screen.. :(

I could increase the settings a bit but.. I cbf waiting for that extra minute or so for the damn thing to stop caching...

I'm with Ghost. While the unlocked version does look cool to start with, I find that the times when the master server is having issues and you get the standard gun - I actually prefer it to the unlock

I regretted using that unlock as soon as i saw it in game. I play a hell of alot better with the standard scar,
even though i know they are both the same stats wise.

nah.. stats can't be the same..
it feels like ther is less recoil in the standard Scar 11.. Could be the scope..
I think the standard scope is better..

I would've understood the size decision if the unlock had some kind of grenade launcher or something cool, but noooo.... what a waste.

..but the stats are the same, they're exactly the same they have identical recoil its just one is like carrying a moose and the other isn't

Maybe it does play tapes, thats what's unique about it, but tapes are redundant and aren't made in 2142 :(
