I see a lot of people wanting to know the fastest way to get points so they can rank up faster so here is how.

The basics

* Destroy Titan Weapon: +2
* Destroy Titan Core: +2
* Repair Titan Weapon: +2

* Kill: +1
* Revive: +1
* Heal: +1
* Repair: +1
* Resupply: +1
* Destroy of Strategic Object: +1

* Kill assist +0.5
* Driver kill assist +0.5

* Teamkill: -3
* Suicide: -2
* Team Damage: -1
* Team Vehicledamage: -1

As you can see going out and whoring a vehicle wont get you points very fast. The fastest way is to work with your squad and follow his orders because if you kill someone where you have been ordered to go you get a +1 point bonus where if you went to another flag and killed someone you would just get 1 point.


The other way to get points in pins.

Different pins give you different rewards.

SO at the end of the round you could have quite a few pages of pins. most i have gotten is 5 pages in 1 round.

Score Limits

There are limits imposed upon actions you can do in the game. These limits are there to make sure you dont get incredible high scores through cheating. Each limit is the points you can get through it. The Titan weapons limit is a count of wepaons, so you can only get points for destroying weapons and repair points for repairing weapons, not more than stated here. Every weapon you destroy or repair after that will not give you any points anymore.

* Repair: 50
* Heal: 50
* Resupply: 50
* Titan Weapons Destroy: 8
* Titan Weapons Repair: 8

Also there is a limit on the score damage you can do to your team. It's 50 points for team vehicle and team damage.


The other fast way to get points is through badges and ribbons

Bronze - 25pts
Silver - 500pts
Gold - 1000pts


the best badges to go for are the knife, pistol and explosives, because they have no time requisite

Has anybody ever got a troop transporter pin? Is it only titan drop pods hitting the ground that count, or can they be redirected back onto the titan?

Yeah its great when they rush the titan.
Easy way to get points is to spawn as support then pod from your titan back onto it, jump down the hatch and raped them from behind. Also throw out a resupply kit up on the walk ways as you will get points from the gunners above.

I did that last night as commander, sat in it on back of titan to make sure there was a constant spawn point whilst commanding. This "silly little man" for some reason everytime he spawned on the troop transport and got out kept dying and then would punish me for a teamkill yet everyone else got out fine got really annoying!

Most common examples would be never actually capping a flag or supporting their team in a cap and just spawn rape all to get badges, pins and ranks quicker

Also, anyone know how commander score is calculated? Ive being trying to get my conquest commander badge (30 points iar) but I struggle to reach 25 points. 2x for the win doesnt seem to count for getting the badge.

OTOH this means that BF2 has improved a bit since those who played the maps for stats and not to actually do something for the team have all buggered off to 2142.

Thats true. The few games i have had have been good. Got vet explosives the other day after months of trying :rnr:

That could be EA for ya. Man that new patch better tweak/fix/clean up all these hacks/glitches/connection lost to ea master server/punkbuster loss connection.

I find 2142 way easier to get rank ups than in bf2 tho. Alot easier =) or mabey im just not being a noob anymore.... nah.... must just be easier ;)
