Server Change Request

Could the initial spawn time please be increased on all servers. At the moment I believe it is set to 15 seconds, which on my computer leaves me with approximately 5 seconds after the game kicks me back to the scoreboard to customise my kit and select a spawn point. Could it please be increased to 30 seconds or even 45, to give everybody time to get into the game?

And? We should steal more, as the BF2142 servers were completely full yesterday. I had to look at other servers and eventually play with myself.

Na fuck this. I got real sick of waiting 45secs in bf2 . 15 secound should be heaps the match dosent start untill the right amount of people join anyway. Ie if it takes 6 people to start a game. On the map change the new map wont start untill six people are in anyway.

Having the extra time before round start gives you time to talk smack to the other team or give them shit for owning them the last round. :D

I have to agree with Snake Daddy it sucked in bf2 having to wait 45s while people spammed voice chat over and over.

First round it's not a problem having longer start time as many players are still loading the map, but second round it becomes an issue as everyone is loaded and everyone does just sit there spammng Yes/No.

Changing it to 30 seconds is on my list of things to do, so it will be done soon.

Perhaps it does, but the point is that even when a map isn't loading, I still only end up having about 5 seconds, after reaching the kit screen, getting kicked back to the scoreboard, clicking join again, and choosing a kit, most everybody else has spawned. Only my l33t ubermicro protects me. 30 seconds should go some way to solving the problem though.
