what do you think of bf2142's sound?

Personally it seems very tinny to me. Sure I have a crappy built in sound mboard, but.... everything I hear sounds like zeeeooo zeeeoo00 zeeooooo (say that for effect). The tanks go zeeeooo slowly, and the guns fire zeeoooos like a little dog humping your leg.

yeh x-fi ftw ultra high setting and u get all kinds of accents and different sounds and such, tis all good times

even my audigy 2 zs does the whole ultra high thingy no problem.

I thinks it's a little lacking TBH, I really like the loud crack from 20th century arms not this whizz pissh pishh shit.,.... the guys who did POE did an awesome job IMO. Ambient noises and distant noises are sweeet though in 2142. and explosions are cool.
