Ok so you have played the demo, which category do you fall in to?

Just interested as I noticed in the demo menu screen the news flashes at the bootom of the screen saying that 120,000 people have applied for the veteran program. Now this is interesting considering the total number of copies that were sold for BF2 and I know numerous people that signed up as veterans but were not going to buy it.

So how many people are going to be playing it?

Err i think i will watch other people beta/play test the retail version for a month before i make up my mind, from the demo im so so. The bf2 demo made me want rush and out get the retail version the very same day, this demo doesn't quite do the same for me.

It is pretty tho and kind of fun

(+had a bit of grief when i tryed changing the keys to similar settings to my bf2, it seems its even more precious about how keybinds are setup :cussing: )

I'm praying the full version is better. Have the xtra guys got the server running on a 486 or something? It's fucking pathetic! Despite my normal lolo ping the lag was terrible.

Other than that some things seem a touch weird. The map is defintely a bit naff. There's an irritating amount of "guy behind me! WTF?!?!" factor.

I was considering buying, but the demo was very dissappointing.

Only good thing I can find in this game thats better than BF2 is the fact it has walkers.

BF2>BF2142.

I wont buy it, but if EA manages to improve the inf combat and perhaps give some kind of roll capabilities to the Jelo I may consider downloading and stealing registration code from the Warehouse.

At this stage I'm not going to buy it until I have had a go on the full version, but I can't see it changing enough for me to want it. BF2 has had a bit of a revival for me since IO so that should last a bit longer.
